Co-authored by Melbourne-based lawyer and menopause coach Tanya Khan and playwright Darren Brealey, the book aims to translate complex hormonal transitions into actionable advice. The authors argue that men are often expected to provide support without being given the necessary tools or understanding of the physiological changes occurring. By utilizing the LEGEND framework, the guide seeks to bridge the communication disconnect that frequently leads to relationship breakdown.
Brealey noted that the project was specifically designed to engage men who typically avoid conventional health literature, focusing on practical application rather than clinical theory. Khan, who draws on both her professional certification and her own experience with perimenopause, highlighted the emotional toll on women who find themselves responsible for explaining their symptoms while simultaneously managing the drift in their relationships. The book is available starting June 30, 2026, via dbad.com.au.
