Dodge CEO Matt McAlear noted that color remains a primary driver for full-size car buyers, ranking nearly three times higher in importance than in the broader automotive market. The new shade joins an existing roster that includes Bludicrous, Green Machine, and Redeye. Designed with a clearcoat that shifts appearance depending on light exposure, the color transitions from a vibrant hue in direct sunlight to a deep, saturated violet in the shade.
Orders are currently open for the entire 2027 Charger range, including the 670-horsepower all-electric Daytona and the 550-horsepower twin-turbo SIXPACK Scat Pack. Buyers can further customize the aesthetic with various Mopar graphics or a Satin Black hood. The public will get its first look at the finish when a SIXPACK-powered Scat Pack model goes on display at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Pennsylvania, scheduled for July 10-12.
