Schrader brings over 25 years of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at Lockheed Martin Space, RTX, and the U.S. Air Force. His background includes overseeing P&L for Blue Canyon Technologies and SEAKR Engineering, where he managed workforces exceeding 1,000 employees. CEO Dan Jablonsky cited Schrader’s deep national security expertise as a vital asset for the company’s current growth phase.
In his new capacity, Schrader will oversee financial strategy and capital allocation across both the company’s primary divisions: Satellites and Spacecraft Missions, and Space Subsystems. His appointment follows the recent addition of Jill Pomeroy as Senior Vice President of Government Relations, signaling a broader effort to consolidate leadership expertise as Sierra Space expands its footprint in the commercial and defense space sectors.
