PanTera, a joint venture between IBA and SCK CEN, produces Ac-225 in compliance with cGMP standards. Christophe Malice, Chief Business Officer of PanTera, stated that providing a reliable isotope source is essential for the industry to transition next-generation therapeutics from the laboratory to patients. PanTera’s production strategy includes both Thorium-229 decay methods and a planned large-scale Ra-226 photonuclear reaction facility, expected to be operational by 2028. For Ratio, this agreement complements its existing manufacturing efforts, which include a proprietary facility in Salt Lake City and a partnership with PharmaLogic.
