Garner joins the team with two decades of commercial leadership, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales at ePac Flexible Packaging in Chicago. During his tenure there, he spearheaded a commercial restructuring that yielded 12% revenue growth and a 15% margin improvement, metrics that played a role in the company’s acquisition by Butterfly Equity. His background includes high-level roles at ConAgra Foods and Coca-Cola’s Odwalla brand, alongside a four-year stint as Managing Director of the commercial advisory firm Sagecrest Group.
Beyond his corporate resume, Garner brings a founder's perspective to the role. In 2012, he launched the cocktail brand Yumix, growing it from a concept to national distribution in over 300 stores. His work with Yumix, which included winning a Walmart Open Call 'Golden Ticket' in 2018, provided him with a direct understanding of the logistical and sustainability pressures packaging decisions place on brands. Arglass CEO Jose Arozamena cited this blend of commercial instinct and builder’s mentality as the catalyst for the hire, noting that Garner’s ability to construct infrastructure from the ground up aligns with the company’s push to modernize glass manufacturing. Garner, who holds an IoPP AmeriStar Package Award and a patent for the Clasper Bottle, will now oversee the commercial strategy for an operation that utilizes hydrogen-ready oxy-fuel furnaces and proprietary biogenic glass technology.
