His career began at The Industrial Bank of Japan and includes board memberships at several financial entities across Asia, such as Khan Bank and Kyrgyzkommertsbank. CEO Takahiko Onozuka stated that the appointment is designed to refine the company’s financial strategy and deepen its engagement with the global investment community.

For TOYO, the leadership change represents an effort to bolster capital markets access as the firm works toward becoming a vertically integrated solar manufacturer. Harada, who holds a law degree from Kyushu University, expressed his intent to focus on building shareholder value and strengthening the company's financial foundation alongside the existing management team.
