Modern patrol vehicles have shifted from simple transport to complex mobile workspaces, driving demand for unified equipment sourcing. By folding the nearly 60-year-old Pro-gard into its operations, Havis intends to offer a single-source platform for everything from gun racks and partitions to docking stations and mobility integration. The transition combines over 135 years of industry experience between the two firms.
Max Rogers, CEO of Havis, noted that the deal bolsters the company’s capacity to supply agencies and upfitters with a comprehensive, cohesive vehicle environment. Mike Navarro, President of Pro-gard, emphasized that the merger maintains the reliability both companies have established with public safety professionals over the decades. The acquisition positions the combined entity as a primary partner for OEMs and distributors seeking to enhance officer security and vehicle readiness across the board.
