Securitize Goes Public on NYSE Following Cantor Equity Merger

Securitize Corp. has finalized its business combination with Cantor Equity Partners II, Inc., marking a transition to the public markets. Starting July 2, 2026, the tokenization platform will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SECZ, cementing its move to scale blockchain infrastructure for institutional investors.

The Miami-based firm, which manages over $4 billion in on-chain assets, aims to position itself as the foundational layer for digital securities. CEO Carlos Domingo stated that the public listing validates the company’s long-standing strategy of operating within strict regulatory frameworks to earn institutional trust. This approach has already fostered partnerships with major financial entities, including BlackRock, Apollo, and KKR.

Following the merger, Securitize plans to accelerate its global expansion and deepen its footprint in regulated markets. The company currently holds unique regulatory authorizations across both the United States and the European Union, allowing it to operate digital-securities infrastructure on two continents. Executives are scheduled to ring the NYSE Closing Bell on July 6 to commemorate the transition.
