Ajman Targets Chinese Travelers Through New Strategic Partnership

The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media has officially appointed Hunan Overseas Travel Co., Ltd. as its representative office in China. This move aims to secure a foothold in one of the world’s most lucrative outbound tourism markets by leveraging the agency’s extensive domestic network.

Following a series of successful promotional roadshows across China, the Department has formalized its commitment to the region. The agreement tasks the Hunan-based firm with executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, which includes managing digital platforms, producing localized content, and coordinating directly with major tour operators to elevate Ajman's profile among Chinese travelers.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department, noted that the partnership builds on recent interest from Chinese stakeholders in the emirate's cultural offerings. Xiong Lian, General Manager of Hunan Overseas Travel, stated that the agency will focus on showcasing the emirate's unique identity to drive visitor growth. Hunan Overseas Travel currently operates over 100 branches and 32 subsidiaries, positioning it as a key player in domestic and international tourism management.
