The new hardware reaches print speeds of 8 inches per second at a 203 dpi resolution, supported by 512 MB of both SDRAM and Flash memory. Its compact clamshell architecture is intended for rapid media loading, while the onboard 2-inch LCD display provides visual alerts and simplified menu navigation for operators. To ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure, the unit supports major programming languages including SLCS, BPL-Z, BPL-D, and BPL-E.
Beyond core printing, the device emphasizes deployment speed through Smart Media Detection and Twin Function technology, which allows for the duplication of settings across multiple printers via a USB host port. Gary Kim, President of BIXOLON America, noted that the integration of precision UHF encoding and XPM web-based device management is intended to help organizations scale their tracking workflows without complex reconfiguration.
