Fiduciary Services Group Bolsters Florida Footprint With Pension Investors Deal

Philadelphia-based Fiduciary Services Group has finalized the acquisition of Pension Investors Corporation, a Florida firm managing 900 retirement plans. This move integrates the TPA specialist into DWC, the flagship administration platform under the FSG umbrella, aiming to consolidate regional expertise across defined contribution and defined benefit sectors.

The acquisition brings together two entities with deep roots in retirement plan consulting. Pension Investors, which operates out of Orlando and Hollywood, has functioned since 1982 and was purchased by Adam Bergman in 2020. Its current portfolio includes 700 defined contribution plans and 200 defined benefit plans, all of which will now transition into the DWC operational framework.

For Scott David, CEO of FSG, the transaction represents a strategic play to scale administrative capabilities and enhance support for CPAs and financial advisors. Bergman noted that the merger allows his firm to leverage the broader technical resources of the parent company while maintaining the service model established over the last four decades. This integration is designed to bolster FSG's competitive standing in the Southeast, adding both human capital and a proven client base to its national retirement services platform.
