Radnostix Acquires Lucerno Dynamics Assets to Expand Radiopharma Portfolio

Idaho-based Radnostix has finalized the acquisition of the LARA System and ELLEXA software from Lucerno Dynamics, securing a suite of technologies designed to track and prevent radiopharmaceutical extravasations during nuclear medicine procedures.

The deal grants Radnostix control over intellectual property capable of monitoring drug uptake, improving dosimetry, and integrating with auto-infusion systems. The LARA platform, which provides real-time visualization, has been utilized in nearly 50,000 clinical administrations across the United States, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. By incorporating these tools, the company aims to reduce clinical barriers and enhance safety protocols in the growing theranostics market.

Shahe Bagerdjian, CEO of Radnostix, stated that the acquisition serves as a milestone in the company's strategy to become a comprehensive provider for clinics performing radioligand therapy. Ron Lattanze, CEO of Lucerno Dynamics, noted that the system adds minimal time—roughly one to two minutes—to standard administration procedures while providing diagnostic assurance for patients. Radnostix plans to leverage this technology to develop new monitoring and delivery solutions as it continues its transition from a radioisotope manufacturer into a broader medical device supplier.
