Nextage Profit Doubles as Half-Year Revenue Climbs to Y391 Billion

Nextage Co. Ltd. saw its net profit more than double for the half-year ending May 31, reaching Y8.88 billion compared with Y4.27 billion during the same period last year. The Japanese retailer reported a significant surge in overall financial performance, fueled by a sharp rise in top-line revenue.

The company recorded total revenue of Y391.21 billion for the six-month period, a notable increase from the Y308.94 billion reported in 2025. This growth translated into stronger margins, with operating profit climbing to Y14.09 billion from Y7.07 billion. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, rising to Y13.20 billion from Y6.66 billion a year prior.

Earnings per share rose to Y113.43, up from Y53.09 in the previous year. These figures, prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards, reflect a period of sustained expansion for the firm.
