Jordan Williams navigated the technical, rock-strewn course in La Thuile with a time of 3:25.767, edging out runner-up Asa Vermette by less than a second. The 21-year-old Briton described the run as a high-stakes effort, noting that the loose conditions required total commitment to maintain speed. In the women’s field, Lisa Baumann made a successful debut for her new team, capturing second place in the Elite Women’s Downhill final with a time of 3:58.744, finishing just 0.275 seconds behind Vali Höll.
The momentum carried over into the cross-country disciplines, where Luca Martin dominated the Elite Men’s Olympic (XCO) event. His performance followed a strong showing in the Short Track (XCC) race, where he placed second behind Adrien Boichis. Charlie Aldridge also contributed to the team's tally, securing third in the Short Track. Following these results, Amaury Pierron maintains his lead in the overall downhill standings with 683 points, while Williams climbs to third place. The series now moves to Pal Arinsal, Andorra, for the next round of competition starting July 10.
