Actian, the data and AI division of HCLSoftware, has formally integrated Jaspersoft into its portfolio following HCLSoftware’s recent acquisition. The integration brings Jaspersoft’s established business intelligence tools—recognized for pixel-perfect reporting and interactive dashboards—directly into Actian’s ecosystem. According to CEO Marc Potter, the strategy addresses the growing enterprise demand for trusted data as organizations scale their AI initiatives. By embedding analytics into daily applications, Actian intends to support recurring operational tasks such as regulatory compliance, performance tracking, and audit reporting.

Actian plans to accelerate development on the Jaspersoft roadmap, focusing specifically on AI-enhanced analytics and agentic BI features. This expansion also incorporates Jaspersoft’s existing network of approximately 90 partners across 44 countries, providing global implementation support. Currently, the platform serves about 1,000 customers spanning highly regulated sectors like financial services, healthcare, and government, where the ability to maintain consistent, data-intensive reporting is critical for day-to-day operations.
