The selection marks the 41st year of the program, which focuses on founders and CEOs who demonstrate disciplined execution alongside entrepreneurial ambition. According to Anna Horndahl, EY Americas Entrepreneur Of The Year Director, these winners are being recognized for building with purpose and achieving high-level impact within their respective markets. The evaluation process considered a range of accomplishments, from the transformation of legacy family businesses to the creation of new ventures from inception.
These regional honorees now advance to the national stage. They will be evaluated by a separate panel for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, set to be presented this November at the Strategic Growth Forum. The individual selected as the National Overall Award winner will ultimately represent the United States at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year competition in May 2027.
