Pilko noted that his background in complex claims and team development aligns with the firm's current expansion goals, while Urueta highlighted his history of integrating data and technology into specialty claims workflows.

His predecessor, Jim DiVirgilio, concludes an 18-year career at the insurer. To ensure continuity, DiVirgilio remains in an advisory capacity through the end of 2026. Before joining AXA XL, Rodliff served as Vice President of Specialized Claims at Liberty Mutual, where he led multi-line teams and focused on improving customer experience metrics.
