Wallace Saunders Investigates Unauthorized Network Access

Law firm Wallace Saunders discovered that an unauthorized actor breached its network in mid-May, potentially exposing sensitive personal and legal documentation. The Overland Park-based firm confirmed the intrusion after detecting anomalous activity, prompting a forensic investigation into the scope of the compromised data files.

The unauthorized access occurred between May 16 and May 18, 2026, before the firm secured its environment. While the firm reports no evidence of misuse, the exposed records may contain Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license details, financial account information, and medical records related to legal representation.

Notification letters were sent to affected individuals starting July 2, 2026. The firm has established a dedicated call center to manage inquiries, accessible at (855) 302-4850 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Central time on weekdays.
