The acquisition brings Essential Pest Control—a firm known for its local reputation in Knoxville and Dayton—under the Orem, Utah-based umbrella. For the 300,000 households currently served by Greenix, the move promises a blend of local expertise and expanded technological resources. CEO Nate Randle highlighted that the merger aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy, emphasizing that Essential’s customer-centric values mirror those established at Greenix since its 2011 founding.

Essential co-owners Kyle and Kris Holden noted that the partnership serves as the next chapter for their team, ensuring that the legacy of their service standards remains intact. This expansion follows a period of accelerated development for Greenix, which has ramped up its acquisition activity since partnering with Gridiron Capital in 2025. By integrating Essential’s regional footprint, Greenix aims to streamline its residential pest management services while maintaining the localized care that has defined both companies' operations.
