The appointment integrates Shure’s global portfolio—ranging from conference room technology to broadcast-grade microphones—with Hub Media’s regional infrastructure. According to Yassine Mannai, Associate Director of Sales for Shure MEA, the strategy centers on serving the market more closely to foster sustainable growth in key sectors. This shift arrives as regional demand accelerates, supported by data from PwC’s Africa Entertainment and Media Outlook, which points to sustained expansion in markets such as Nigeria and Kenya.
Beyond hardware availability, the collaboration addresses a critical need for local expertise. Hub Media is tasked with providing technical guidance, training, and after-sales support to partners and end-users. Olga Elena, Sales Leader at Hub Media, noted that the priority is to bridge the gap between Shure’s global audio engineering and the specific requirements of the regional market. This initiative is a core component of Shure's long-term development strategy for the Middle East and Africa, ensuring that the company’s equipment remains accessible as the continent’s professional and educational sectors continue to evolve.
