Airside Technology, founded in 1984, operates as a union HVAC contractor providing specialized services including pipe fitting, controls, and sheet metal fabrication for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients across Central New York. Company president Steve Perry emphasized that the selection of Heritage Holdings was driven by a shared commitment to maintaining the firm’s long-tenured workforce and internal culture, which has prioritized employee retention for over twenty years.

Heritage Holdings, established in 2015, focuses on lower-middle-market acquisitions and recently closed its inaugural institutional fund with approximately $220 million in committed capital. The firm currently manages an HVAC platform operating under four distinct brands. Bob Foresman, senior advisor to SDR, noted that the acquisition aims to build upon the mechanical solutions and automated fabrication capabilities that Airside has cultivated since its inception.
