Chief Technology Officer Aihua Wang, Chief Technical Advisor Dr. Jianhua Zhao, and Chief Strategy Officer Rhone Resch represented the company during the institutional investor event. The trio addressed the integration of solar power within space-based infrastructure, a field currently bolstered by the company’s internal research capabilities. Both Wang and Zhao bring significant academic pedigree to the role, having previously contributed to the development of high-efficiency solar cells at the University of New South Wales—a body of work recognized with the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.

CEO Takahiko Onozuka noted that the company’s participation signals a strategic shift toward exploring the convergence of artificial intelligence, robotics, and solar energy. By positioning its manufacturing expertise for space applications, TOYO intends to secure a foothold in a rapidly diversifying market.
