Robert Lay Appointed as LERETA Chief Financial Officer

With two and a half decades of experience in the mortgage and financial technology sectors, Robert Lay has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer at LERETA. He arrives in Pomona to oversee the company’s financial strategy and infrastructure as it enters its next phase of national expansion.

Lay joins the real estate tax and flood services provider after a tenure at Selene Finance, where he served as both CFO and Executive Vice President. During his time with the Pretium Partners-backed firm, he managed a $195 million portfolio of operating businesses and spearheaded a modernization of internal finance and accounting functions. His background includes a decade at First American Financial Corporation, alongside previous leadership roles at Experian and UPS.

CEO Katie Brewer highlighted Lay’s specific expertise in building finance organizations that produce measurable business outcomes. At LERETA, he will be responsible for planning, analysis, and operational performance. Lay holds an MBA from California State University, Fullerton, and brings additional technical credentials as a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt practitioner to the executive team.
