Luca Marraffa joins as a shareholder, bringing over 15 years of experience in domestic and international taxation. He is accompanied by Cristina Biscontri, Samuele Amato, and Aurora Jannacone Pazzi. The firm also added Giovanni Monte, formerly of Chiomenti, to bolster its tax litigation capacity. Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum noted that the expansion is part of a strategy to capture growing opportunities in the Italian market. The Milan office, formed through the combination of Greenberg Traurig and Santa Maria Studio Legale Associato, has seen a recent series of hires across banking, finance, and labor law. By embedding tax expertise directly into its corporate and M&A offerings, the firm aims to provide clients with a unified service chain from initial structuring to potential litigation.
