The program integrates live virtual instruction with self-paced Microsoft courses, covering machine learning operations, deep learning, and advanced generative AI frameworks. Designed for IT professionals and data analysts, the curriculum emphasizes hands-on application, requiring students to complete over 14 real-world projects, including three capstones. These projects span diverse sectors such as e-commerce, retail analytics, and autonomous driving.

Kashyap Dalal, co-founder and COO of Simplilearn, noted that the collaboration addresses the industry demand for practitioners who can manage end-to-end machine learning workflows. Beyond technical training, the partnership provides participants with career support, including resume building and networking opportunities. Graduates earn a joint certificate from UCSB PaCE and Simplilearn, signaling their proficiency in building and monitoring production-ready AI models. Applicants are expected to have at least two years of work experience and a baseline understanding of programming and mathematics.
