ACI Learning Campuses Gain VET TEC 2.0 Approval for Veteran Training

Veterans in Dallas, San Antonio, and Colorado Springs now have a new pathway to tech careers as ACI Learning’s campuses secure approval as VET TEC 2.0 providers. The program allows eligible service members to pursue intensive training in cybersecurity and IT without exhausting their remaining GI Bill benefits.

The VET TEC 2.0 initiative, established under the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act, focuses on high-demand fields including cloud computing, systems administration, and IT support. By securing this status, ACI Learning must meet strict federal requirements regarding student employment outcomes, ensuring that training programs lead directly to gainful work in the technology sector.

Students at these locations can enroll in specialized tracks, such as the Computer User Support Specialist program—which covers AI prompt engineering and key CompTIA certifications—or the Cybersecurity Analyst track. Beyond classroom instruction, participants receive support through the myACI platform and dedicated career mentorship aimed at resume building and interview preparation. Tim Kalil, President of ACI Learning Tech Academy, noted that this approval serves as a bridge for veterans who have already utilized their standard educational benefits but still require updated certifications to remain competitive in the modern workforce.
