Leads Biolabs to Present Six Oncology Studies at ESMO 2026

Nanjing-based Leads Biolabs has secured six research slots at the upcoming European Society for Medical Oncology Annual Congress in Madrid, including two high-profile oral presentations. The selection signals growing international interest in the firm's pipeline, particularly its pan-tumor immunotherapy candidate, Opamtistomig, and its GPRC5D-targeting T-cell engager, LBL-034.

The ESMO congress, scheduled for October 23–27, 2026, will feature Leads Biolabs' latest clinical findings across multiple indications, including extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma and biliary tract cancer. Beyond the two selected Proffered Papers, four additional studies will be showcased as posters. The company also confirmed it has been granted Late-Breaking Abstract status, with the full data set expected to be finalized in September.

Dr. Charles Cai, Chief Medical Officer at Leads Biolabs, described the ESMO recognition as a milestone in the company's efforts to establish its drug candidates as global standards. The firm's lead asset, Opamtistomig, is currently positioned as an IO 2.0 pan-tumor therapy, having already secured Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China and Fast Track status from the U.S. FDA for neuroendocrine carcinoma. Simultaneously, the company is preparing for an oral presentation at the World Conference on Lung Cancer in September, where it will present data on the drug's efficacy in first-line non-small cell lung cancer.

Leads Biolabs continues to leverage its proprietary LeadsBody and X-Body platforms to develop bispecific antibodies. With 14 candidates now in its pipeline, the company is shifting focus toward advancing registrational trials and expanding its commercial footprint, aiming to provide durable clinical responses for patients with limited treatment options.
