Leifras Targets Japan's Preschools in New HR Produce Partnership

Leifras Co., Ltd. has secured a strategic outsourcing agreement with human resources firm HR Produce, gaining access to a network of over 10,000 childcare facilities across Japan. The move aims to accelerate the deployment of the company’s sports education programs and its proprietary non-cognitive skill assessment platform, Milabo.

The alliance addresses mounting pressure within the Japanese childcare sector, where operators grapple with high turnover, rising recruitment costs, and a shrinking pool of children. By integrating Leifras’ specialized sports academies and data-driven developmental tools into existing facilities, the companies intend to stabilize operations while offering a competitive edge for nursery schools looking to attract families.

Leifras plans to roll out 13 distinct sports programs—including soccer, dance, and multi-sport offerings—directly within childcare centers, utilizing spaces as compact as half a basketball court. This onsite model removes logistical hurdles for dual-income parents who previously struggled to coordinate extracurricular transport. Simultaneously, the implementation of the Milabo system provides teachers with objective, radar-charted data on children’s social development. This integration is designed to streamline parent-teacher communication and bolster facility branding, creating a sustainable ecosystem that links institutional operational support with direct consumer services.
