American Uranium Wraps Up Lo Herma Drilling Campaign

With the final 32 mud rotary holes completed, American Uranium has finished its latest 12,757-meter drilling program at the Lo Herma project in Wyoming. The effort aims to upgrade resource classifications and expand the project’s footprint ahead of a scheduled scoping study due later this year.

The campaign involved 50 drill holes total, shifting focus from Inferred to Indicated resource categories within Mine Unit 1. By executing step-out drilling along interpreted redox trends in Mine Unit 2, the company intends to bolster its total resource base. CEO Bruce Lane confirmed the program met its core objectives, building upon the 9.45 million pound U3O8 interim resource reported this past March.

These findings serve as the foundation for an upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate update. American Uranium is positioning Lo Herma, located in the Powder River Basin, to mirror the hub-and-spoke development models seen at nearby sites like Ur-Energy’s Shirley Basin and Uranium Energy Corp’s Luderman project. The company continues to evaluate additional prospective holdings in Wyoming’s Great Divide Basin and legacy uranium-vanadium assets in Utah.
