Unlike traditional security tools that rely on cloud-based processing, this system operates directly on user devices without requiring GPUs or incurring token costs. It targets the growing crisis of AI-enabled crime, which saw the FBI record $20.9 billion in cyber-losses during 2025.

Beyond individual device protection, the company is rolling out the Reken Network, a trust layer that allows organizations to verify communications and filter malicious content in real time. Their debut application, Northstar, seeks to replace ineffective corporate phishing training by providing just-in-time AI detection for employees. By offloading the burden of forensic verification from workers to automated sensors, the platform aims to secure critical communication channels against sophisticated threats that human users are increasingly unable to identify.
