C'sMEN Losses Quadruple in First Quarter

A sharp rise in operational costs pushed C'sMEN Co. Ltd. into a deeper financial hole during the first quarter ending May 31, 2026. The Japanese firm reported a net loss of 92 million yen, nearly four times the 23 million yen deficit recorded during the same period last year.

C'sMEN Losses Quadruple in First Quarter

Despite a significant revenue surge to 5.35 billion yen from 1.28 billion yen a year ago, the company’s bottom line failed to stabilize. C'sMEN managed to swing from an operating loss of 22 million yen to an operating profit of 53 million yen, yet these gains were eclipsed by broader fiscal pressures. Pretax profit reached 54 million yen, marking a recovery from the previous year's 24 million yen loss. However, the final net result reflects a loss per share of 10.78 yen, compared to 5.26 yen in 2025. These figures, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, underscore the volatility currently defining the company's fiscal trajectory.
