Since its founding in 2021, the Certified B Corp has managed the distribution of more than $450 million in aid across 240 partner organizations. The platform integrates identity verification, eligibility screening, and payment processing into a single workflow, replacing manual legacy systems that often slow down emergency relief. CEO Brittany Christenson noted that the technology is designed to help public sector leaders navigate increasing caseloads without sacrificing human oversight or program dignity.
The company’s impact was recently demonstrated in high-stakes environments, such as the Los Angeles regional wildfire relief efforts, where it scaled fund management from $2 million to $20 million in weeks. Similarly, in Flint, Michigan, the platform supported the Rx Kids initiative, achieving near-perfect enrollment rates among new mothers. By utilizing biometric matching and geospatial analysis to assist—rather than replace—human case workers, AidKit has positioned itself as a leader in responsible AI implementation within the public sector.
