Stout Debuts Drivr Platform to Streamline Asset Valuation

Chicago-based advisory firm Stout has launched Drivr, a digital platform designed to consolidate portfolio valuation and monitoring for alternative asset managers. By integrating AI-driven data extraction with independent valuation opinions, the tool aims to replace fragmented manual workflows that currently plague the management of hard-to-value investments.

The platform addresses a critical inefficiency in finance: the reliance on disconnected systems for tracking portfolio health. Developed by Stout’s valuation practitioners in collaboration with CFOs and auditors, Drivr centralizes source documentation, scenario analysis, and compliance reporting into a single interface. This integration allows firms to transition from weeks-long manual processes to workflows that resolve in hours or days.

Chris Franzek, Managing Director and Co-Leader of Stout’s Portfolio Valuation Practice, argues that the industry requires a shift in operating models rather than just additional software tools. The platform provides firms with the ability to monitor custom KPIs, conduct real-time sensitivity analyses, and maintain audit-ready documentation via direct Snowflake integration or standard dashboard access. By embedding Stout’s independent valuation expertise directly into the monitoring cycle, the firm intends to offer asset managers a more transparent and scalable approach to managing risk.
