More than 5,000 diapers, wipes, and containers of baby food were collected by the Credit Union of Southern California during a recent regional drive. The initiative, spanning 12 branch locations and the Anaheim Hills headquarters, aimed to alleviate the financial strain on families supported by HomeAid OCLA.

The campaign mobilized both staff and credit union members to address a critical need for baby supplies across Orange and Los Angeles counties. According to Gina Cunningham, Executive Director of HomeAid OCLA, these contributions prevent parents from having to choose between purchasing diapers and providing food for their children.

Dave Gunderson, President and CEO of CU SoCal, noted that the drive aligns with the organization's broader mission to support the communities where its 187,000 members live and work. The collected items are designated for families navigating particularly difficult life circumstances, offering immediate relief where it is needed most. This outreach effort underscores the credit union's ongoing community engagement strategy, which has been a staple of its operations since its founding in 1954.
