Technicians currently managing scheduled inspections or component replacements often face administrative hurdles that pull them away from the hangar floor. By embedding Flyparts’ inventory of over two million items into Crewchief MX, the company aims to eliminate the friction between procurement and hands-on maintenance. This integration allows for real-time order placement and the automatic synchronization of essential documentation, such as 8130-3 forms, directly into the aircraft’s maintenance records.
Aaron de Zafra, CEO of Crewchief Systems, noted that the update fulfills the platform's goal of serving as a centralized hub for aircraft maintenance operations. John Gitts, COO and co-founder of Flyparts, emphasized that the collaboration directly targets aircraft downtime by streamlining the supply chain process. The new functionality is scheduled to debut publicly at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, held from July 20 to 26 in Wisconsin.
