Florida Inventor Proposes Biodegradable Solution for Ground Pests

Seeking an alternative to liquid sprays and granular pesticides, an inventor from Eustis, Florida, has developed the Poison Dome. This patent-pending device aims to eradicate inground insect colonies while minimizing chemical runoff and reducing the volume of plastic waste typically associated with traditional pest control methods.

The device features a biodegradable design intended for both professional exterminators and homeowners. By replacing conventional plastic jugs and bags with a self-contained unit, the invention targets the reduction of landfill waste while streamlining the logistics of shipping and retail storage. The inventor asserts that the system provides a more environmentally conscious approach to managing ant populations and other subterranean insects without the ecological risks posed by standard chemical applications.

Currently in the prototype stage, the design is being managed by the InventHelp sales office in Fort Lauderdale. The company is actively seeking manufacturers or marketers interested in licensing the technology. Detailed technical drawings and physical models are available for prospective partners through the firm’s Pittsburgh headquarters.
