The new capital brings total support from PMI U.S. to $665,000 since 2024. Brad Cummings, founder and board chair of RMVAP, noted that the investment is critical for veterans who often face complex administrative hurdles when seeking the benefits they earned through military service. Between October 2024 and October 2025, the organization managed 713 legal matters, successfully recovering $22.7 million for veterans and their families.

RMVAP plans to deploy these resources to broaden its reach, including enhanced operations at the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center in Colorado Springs and a new discharge upgrade clinic at the Bill Daniels Veterans Service Clinic in Denver. The initiative also prioritizes outreach to rural and Tribal communities, specifically targeting the Navajo Nation. By pairing licensed attorneys with law students from the University of Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Wyoming, the project maintains a sustainable pipeline of legal advocates. To date, the organization and its predecessor clinic have recovered over $78 million in lifetime benefits for more than 3,000 service members.
