The company confirmed the agreements late Tuesday, marking a broad expansion of its footprint. Among the highlights are a preferred negotiating position for a multi-year nuclear contract and a design-build-finance-maintain agreement for seven new schools in Alberta. Further work includes dredging operations in British Columbia, mine infrastructure in Quebec, industrial maintenance, and a liquefied petroleum gas rail-loading facility in Alberta.
Chief Executive Teri McKibbon noted that these wins provide improved visibility into future performance and solidify the firm's growth trajectory. By securing these diverse mandates, Bird Construction has effectively reinforced its backlog across the nuclear, civil, and industrial maintenance sectors.
