Williams brings a diverse career history to the role, having served as a consultant, educator, and expert witness across Europe, North America, and South America. His expertise covers sectors ranging from energy and mining to telecommunications and utilities.
Beyond his consulting practice, Williams maintains a significant presence in the UK regulatory landscape as a non-executive director of the Regulatory Policy Committee. In this capacity, he evaluates the economic impact of proposed legislation with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. His academic background includes a research fellowship at Imperial College Business School’s Centre for Climate Finance and Investment, alongside tenured professorships at the Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and the University of Arizona. He holds a Ph.D. from Georgia State University.
