The certification process verifies that DNV’s framework meets global requirements for developing and maintaining quality standards. By integrating these requirements with the ISO 9001 quality management model, DNV offers hospitals a risk-based approach to managing operational vulnerabilities and clinical consistency. This dual-layered strategy allows organizations to move beyond basic compliance, embedding performance evaluation and risk awareness into their core leadership and planning cycles.

As global healthcare systems grapple with mounting pressures—ranging from workforce shortages to cybersecurity threats—the demand for transparent, resilient accreditation frameworks has intensified. Alex Imperial, Global Managing Director at DNV Healthcare, noted that the renewal provides providers with a proven structure to navigate this complexity. The accreditation remains valid through June 2030, with the organization subject to ongoing oversight and periodic reporting to ensure sustained adherence to ISQua’s international principles.
