The media events begin Wednesday, July 23, at 2 PM at the 128th Air Refueling Wing. This session offers journalists the rare opportunity to conduct interviews directly on the tarmac as performers arrive, though access is strictly limited to credentialed personnel vetted via an Entry Authorization List. No walk-ins will be permitted at this secure facility.
On Thursday, July 24, at 12:30 PM, the focus shifts to the Milwaukee lakefront at 2272 North Lincoln Memorial Drive. Show owner and director Brian Allendorfer Jr. will lead a press conference during the event’s rehearsal flights, detailing the coordination required to pull off one of Wisconsin’s largest public gatherings. Following the presentation, media representatives are invited to photograph the rehearsal from designated safe zones.
Attendance at both events requires pre-registration. The RSVP deadline for the July 23 Media Day is July 17 at 8 AM CT, while the deadline for the July 24 press conference is July 20 at 8 AM CT. Interested parties must submit full legal credentials for all crew members to Lena Levy at First Station Media to secure access.
