The rating underscores Harel’s strong operating performance and disciplined risk management, distinguishing it as the sole Israeli insurer to reach this benchmark. This latest evaluation complements an existing A- rating from S&P Global Ratings, signaling to international markets that the firm maintains high levels of financial resilience and capital stability.
Nir Cohen, CEO of Harel Group, described the dual ratings as an independent validation of the company's business model. According to Cohen, the recognition bolsters the insurer’s standing among global reinsurers, investors, and policyholders. Harel, which manages approximately NIS 630 billion in assets, continues to leverage its diversified portfolio—spanning life, health, and non-life insurance alongside pension and provident fund management—to sustain its leadership in the Israeli market.
