The device distinguishes itself with a design philosophy centered on user expression. Its exterior finishes include color-shifting materials, such as the Thermo Orange variant that reacts to temperature, and Mirage Green, which utilizes light-sensitive leather. Beyond the aesthetics, the phone integrates an Active Matrix Cube on the rear camera housing, providing a physical interface for notifications, ambient lighting, and mini-games. For efficiency, a dedicated One-Tap AI button offers quick access to flash memos and scheduling tools, while the Folax assistant connects users to major AI models like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

Under the hood, the HOT 70 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 platform and features a 144Hz FHD+ display for fluid navigation. The company emphasizes longevity, building the chassis to MIL-STD-810 standards with IP68-rated water and dust resistance. To manage the demands of heavy usage, the phone supports bypass charging, allowing power to be routed directly to the device during intensive tasks like gaming or streaming. With a battery capacity reaching up to 6000mAh in select markets and a 50MP Sony-sensor camera system, the handset aims to balance performance with the ruggedness required for active daily life.
