Founded in 1933, Hartford Sprinkler brings nearly a century of technical expertise to its new parent company. The firm provides a full suite of life safety services, including the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire pumps, extinguishers, and emergency lighting, alongside rigorous code compliance support for both commercial and residential sectors. Its team of skilled technicians will remain in the field to serve their established Connecticut client base.

Kevin Kita, who has led the family-owned business, noted that joining Pye-Barker creates new avenues for professional development for his staff while expanding the range of protective services available to current customers. Pye-Barker CEO Bart Proctor pointed to the acquisition as a cultural alignment, emphasizing the shared focus on long-term legacy and family values. With this transition, Pye-Barker continues its aggressive national growth strategy, leveraging its position as the largest integrated fire protection provider in the U.S. to consolidate local expertise under a single banner.
