Atlas Free Named Among Top 50 Nonprofits to Work For

Kirkland-based Atlas Free has secured a spot on The NonProfit Times' 2026 list of the best nonprofits to work for in the United States. The organization, which focuses on dismantling human trafficking networks, earned the distinction based on internal employee evaluations of workplace culture, leadership, and professional development.

The annual ranking, now in its 17th year, utilizes an independent survey from the Workforce Research Group to measure employee satisfaction across nine key categories. Staff members grade their employers on factors ranging from workplace communication and diversity to work-life balance. For Atlas Free, the recognition serves as a validation of an internal strategy that prioritizes staff well-being to sustain high-stakes humanitarian efforts.

Jeremy Vallerand, CEO of Atlas Free, noted that the organization’s ability to drive impact relies heavily on its internal culture. Since its inception in 2012, the Atlas Free Network has reached more than 1.6 million people through intervention, aftercare, and prevention initiatives. By fostering an environment rooted in trust and purpose, the nonprofit aims to ensure its team remains equipped to handle the complexities of global anti-trafficking operations.
