These patients have now entered the 36-week randomized treatment period, a critical phase in evaluating the investigational therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Interim Executive Chairman Sergio Duchini noted that the accelerated timeline provides a significant value inflection point for the company. Merit Cudkowicz, director of the Sean M. Healey & AMG Center, credited the rapid progress to optimized platform infrastructure and the urgent collaboration between researchers and patients, noting that the trial remains focused on delivering high-quality data with operational discipline. Following the current 36-week trial phase, participants will transition into a 36-week active treatment extension as Neurizon works toward the updated 2027 reporting window.
