transcosmos Retains Spot on FTSE Blossom Japan ESG Indices

For the second consecutive year, Tokyo-based transcosmos has secured its position within the FTSE Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index. This inclusion highlights the company’s sustained commitment to environmental, social, and governance standards as evaluated by global index provider FTSE Russell.

The indices serve as critical benchmarks for institutional investors, including Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund, to identify firms demonstrating robust sustainability management. FTSE Russell’s assessment framework spans a rigorous set of criteria, ranging from corporate governance and human rights to anti-corruption measures and occupational safety.

While the FTSE Blossom Japan Index tracks overall ESG performance, the Sector Relative Index acts as a sector-neutral gauge. This allows for a granular view of how companies perform relative to their industry peers, with additional scrutiny applied to organizations with significant greenhouse gas emissions. For transcosmos, this recognition validates its ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into its global business operations across 36 countries.
