Construction activity is already underway at the Idaho site, marking the start of a project scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2028. Beyond the primary fabrication building, the scope of work encompasses the development of a complex utility plant and the necessary supporting infrastructure to power the facility’s specialized operations.

This contract, valued at approximately 3.6 billion Swedish kronor, represents a significant addition to Skanska’s American portfolio. The company continues to lean into the industrial sector, focusing on high-tech manufacturing expansion within the United States.
