The TMR1370 expands the company’s existing sensor lineup, building on the architecture of previous models like the TMR1367 and TMR1369. By utilizing proprietary Tunneling Magnetoresistance technology, the device achieves a typical power draw of 30nA at a 3V supply. This reduction in energy consumption is critical for medical wearables, where battery capacity must be preserved for active monitoring cycles after the device has been stored on a shelf.

Designed for integration into compact systems, the switch operates within a 1.8V to 4.0V range and features a maximum operating point below 40 Gauss. The sensor is housed in a miniature 1.6×1.6×0.5mm DFN5L package, allowing for thinner, lighter medical devices. System designers can now choose between X-axis and Z-axis configurations to better suit various mechanical layouts.
