Since 2011, Operation Homefront’s Critical Financial Assistance Program has processed over 63,000 requests, distributing nearly $50 million in aid. Ashley Bunce, director of community partnerships at Wounded Warrior Project, emphasized that the initiative was designed to ensure service members and their caregivers maintained access to essential food supplies when standard support systems faltered.
